Spain is a vibrant and exciting land and once away from the package-holiday costas, you will find things you have only dreamed of. Walking in the narrow winding old streets of the cities you can turn corners and come face to face with views of striking modern architecture, while in the local tavernas you can drink wine from the barrel and then walk next door to a blaring disco.

Spain is an easy country to get around with plenty of accommodation, the climate is temperate, and the people relaxed, the beaches long and sandy, and the food and drink tasty. One of the best things about Spain is that it is a largely popular tourist destination yet in parts you can go for days without hearing a word of the English Language.

OIIE Location

Seville (or Sevilla) is a city you will find hard to leave once you have completed your intern ship with OIIE. It takes a cold heart not to be lured in by its exotic and enrapturing atmosphere – on one hand so strong, modern, fashionable dominating and on the other so personal and so fun!

Its flamenco, bullfighting and nightlife are amazing but above all, Seville has an incredible atmosphere. Being amongst its happy crowds on a summer night is an unforgettable experience. The people of Sevilla certainly know how to enjoy life!

Spain is one of Europe's more affordable countries. It's just about possible to scrape by for around 20.00 a day. This does mean staying in the cheap accommodation, avoiding eating in restaurants or going to museums or bars, and not doing too much. A more comfortable budget would be 40.00 a day, covering expenses for a basic hotel room, set meals, public transport and entry to museums.
